The Importance of the Hop-Up Chamber
The Hop-Up Chamber is the core component of the Airsoft gun’s ballistic accuracy and range. G&G Armament’s latest Hop-Up Chamber launched this year is different from any other product on the market and can be used with various weights of BBs—up to 0.4g—and still achieve optimal trajectory and range.
The Concept Behind the Patented Hop-Up Chamber
The main visual design of this patented Hop-Up Chamber is pictured below:
The central graphic depicts the core parts of the patented Hop-Up Chamber. The planetary icons (Sun, Saturn, and Moon) represent the mechanisms of planetary movement. The differences of masses between each celestial body reflect the range of BB weights, while their varying orbital speeds relate to the BB rotation speeds as different masses passing through the Hop-Up Chamber.
Precision, Accuracy, and Innovation (PAI)
At the bottom of the outer ring, the P. stands for Precision. The unit associated with P is 0.019, which describes the distance in millimeters that the top-down piece moves with each dial adjustment. The core parts are meticulously designed for the extreme fine-tuning capabilities of this new Hop-Up Chamber.
A. stands for Accuracy, with 39 being the total number of dial adjustments that can be operated, granting the most accurate ballistics possible using this new system.
Lastly, the I. stands for Innovation, with 0.74 representing the total travel distance in millimeters (0.019mm x 39 dials), demonstrating the innovation of this design through very precise parts with fine-tuning features to achieve the most optimal performance.
The Meaning of PAI
The combination of the three initials is PAI, similarly to the circumference ratio, Pi (π). π not only best describes the round shape of BBs, but also best describes the concepts and functions of this patent.

The second generation electronic target system now comes with a steel target face with MEMS sensor with 8 different built-in modes for different training scenarios. The sensor will only pick up the specific shockwave when BBs hit the target, preventing misreads or incorrect activations when accidentally bumping into the target.
