The "2026 National Air Gun Shooting Competition - Northern Region Preliminary Round," hosted by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China, concluded successfully. Nearly 100 reservists competed in teams, completing various challenges including air gun and electric gun shooting. The "VFC Shooting Club" ultimately won the championship. The event also included a military camp open day, showcasing AH-64E Apache attack helicopters and important ROC Armed Forces weapons and equipment such as the Tien Kung III anti-aircraft missile. This attracted a large number of visitors, effectively enhancing public awareness of national defense and improving national defense education by combining the competition with equipment displays.

**A hybrid scenario-based electronic target shooting training system combining wired/wireless/low-light (simulating nighttime scenarios) enhances tactical application and on-the-spot judgment.**

This competition was held at the National Defense University's Fuxinggang Campus. Each team consisted of four official competitors and one reserve competitor, competing in individual and team air rifle and electric gun shooting. All competition stages utilized the electronic steel target training system provided by G&G ARMAMENT Co., Ltd., which, through high-sensitivity electronic sensing technology, real-time hit detection, and score feedback, provided participants with a more accurate, fair, and technologically advanced competition environment. The competition utilizes an electronic steel target training system combined with confined space combat (CQB) and battlefield environment simulations. Multiple electronic targets are set up in simulated alleyways, building corners, narrow passages, and indoor spaces. Contestants must complete actions such as movement, cover, searching, target identification, and firing according to tactical procedures, advancing while providing mutual cover through hand gestures and verbal commands. The electronic steel targets can be configured with different target types, target appearance order, reaction times, and hit detection conditions according to the needs of each level, increasing the variability of the scenarios and requiring participants to quickly complete friend-or-foe identification and firing decisions, fully testing their tactical application capabilities. Furthermore, each level employs a timed system and utilizes an electronic steel target system to establish a real-time scoring mechanism. Combined with multi-directional targets, mixed enemy and friendly scenarios, reloading, and moving shooting, it comprehensively simulates various situations that might be encountered in modern warfare. This effectively enhances the fairness of the competition and the quality of training.

**Technological training equipment enhances national defense effectiveness**

G&G ARMAMENT's electronic target training system was successfully applied to various competition stages, enhancing the overall technological sophistication and realism of the competition. It also allowed participating reserve soldiers to experience a more realistic shooting training mode in a safe environment. Through real-time performance feedback and diverse scenario simulations, the system helps athletes improve their shooting skills, tactical judgment, and teamwork abilities. This demonstrates the value of intelligent training equipment in national defense education and reserve force training, and establishes a more comprehensive and professional competition standard for air rifle shooting competitions.
